What’s Next?

So now I am an Atlantic Conservatory trained actor and I’m ready to jump into my professional entertainment career full time. What exactly does that mean? I’ll start submitting and auditioning for everything I could possibly be right for me. Most of my pre-training career was musical theatre. I would love to do that again while working on regular plays. The stage will always be my first love. I would also love to start working in film and television. I also plan on doing more technical theatre. I enjoy Stage and Company Management and hope to do more of that. I was a little scared of doing anything besides acting on the stage before coming to New York, but now I fully believe that I can do anything on or offstage.

I will also be working with Clementine Players, of which I am a founding member. We are a new company that does not limit itself to just theatre, but embraces storytelling across a variety of mediums. We are fresh off our first production and are excited to see what we can do next. I am hoping to not only act but also direct with them in the future. And I currently run our social media accounts.

The future of the entertainment industry is bright. I’m joining the professional world right as our world is shifting. Minds are opening to more diverse stories. Actors and technicians are fighting to be treating fairly and winning. As a plus-size non-binary actor, I am in the unique position to tell stories like my own.
